We are very happy to discover a new kids friendly brunch in town, at SUK Restaurant in Four Seasons Hotel and Resort.
We are sure that after five days of school runs and daytime job, Friday is more then welcome for most of us. And what can be better than to have three-four hours to enjoy a good meal that you don't have to cook and kids to enjoy their coloring, balloons or even a movie? That's exactly what we did at Suk on a Friday when kids completely dismissed us and spend all the time in the kids corner and came just for a bit of food. And what a delicious food they have there!
The French chef, Giles Arzur, put a lot of thought into it and decided to follow the trend of organic food. The fruits and vegetables are sourced from Greenheart Organic Farms based in UAE. As Greenheart doesn't store, the produce is harvested every day based on the orders received ensuring that everything is as fresh as possible. This way, the restaurant supports also a small local business that started no more then four years ago. The delicious meat we ate is brought mainly from Wales and is also organic.
The brunch offers a variety of cuisines: Middle Eastern, Western or Asian.
There are live food stations there and the kids enjoyed most the freshly made pasta. The pasta spirals are made in front of you and the kids loved to watch the pasta shapes getting out from the machine.
This is the pasta making machine: choose the size of the portion and then the sauce. Everything freshly made.
All the food is so delicious but we truly liked the caviar, the sushi and the risotto, kindly brought to the table by the waiters. It's so hard to choose and we are looking forward to go back and try the other dishes, too. By the way, if you need any information about the food, the waiters are happy to answer your questions.
There was not much room left for the desserts but here is a picture with the options. loved the idea of small bites so we didn't leave without something sweet. And there is high quality ice cream, too! Our favourite: the pistachio one, that really tasted of pistachio.
